Waikato University Apartments

The project required the maximum number of self-contained student apartments within an allocated budget to be accommodated on two adjoining sites. This necessitated simple but tasteful design that was cost effective, robust, and easily maintained. The designer focused on the creation of units that would best suit student living, and which would assist the University in attracting students to their campus.

The concept focused on achieving sun into every living space to enhance the areas. Precast concrete was the perfect product for this project allowing versatility of design, easy building and above all durability.
